About Ferdinand Kohle

Ferdinand is a scientist, designer, and entrepreneur. He studied physics, chemistry, and innovation design in Heidelberg, New York, and London where he received a MA in Innovation Design Engineering from the Royal College of Art and a PhD in Materials Science from Cornell University.

In 2021, he founded CipherX Technologies Ltd, a deep tech startup company focused on microneedle technology.

Previously, Ferdinand worked as a Product Owner at Vetter (Ravensburg, Germany) helping Fortune 500 pharmaceutical companies worldwide develop, package, and market launch injectable drug products. 

From 2013 to 2018, he was a research assistant at Cornell University and Memorial Sloan Kettering-Cornell Center for Translation of Cancer Nanomedicine (NYC, USA), where he developed novel nanomaterials for cancer theranostics.
